Practical Information for Winterclash 2024

Winterclash is around the corner and here are a few important things to know. We’ve gathered all the information to make it through the weekend. Please take a second to read through and get prepared for the best weekend of the year.

NO HELMET NO SKATE – bring your helmet, you won’t be allowed to compete without one.

NO SMOKING INSIDE – Seriously! Please respect that rule! Otherwise we will have to kick you out and Winterclash 2024 will be over for you! There are smoking areas on both sides of the building as well as in front of the park. Thank you for your support. We love you!

AWARENESS – Winterclash is a big community event. BE KIND and respect each other. If you are affected by (or witness) misbehavior, sexual harassment, racism, homophobia or any other kind of nonsense, please inform one of our park rangers, crew members, security or Miguel & Blake, our host. We will take you to a quiet space to talk or rest as soon as you contact us.

Entry & Tickets: Please double check if you have personalized your tickets. You can find the email with the link to download and personalize your ticket by searching for “Your tickets for Winterclash 2024” in your inbox (or your spam folder). If you can not find your ticket, please send an email to tickets@winterclash.com.
To speed up the entrance, please keep your ticket ready on your phone or printed) when arriving at the Skatepark on Friday. Thursday is a free day for everyone and tickets won’t be checked. However, you can SAVE TIME for Friday and pass by the ticket-booth to already exchange your tickets to wristbands, check in for the guestlist or pick up your tickets. On Thursday the ticket-booth will be located upstairs next to the bar & cafe.

The central station of Eindhoven is simply called “Eindhoven”.
There is another station called “STRJP-S” which is only 3 minutes walk from the skatepark.

Schedule and Full Program: www.winterclash.com/the-event/schedule
Next to the competition itself we have many side events to check out. Interviews, panel discussions, key notes, movie screenings and more. Make sure to dive into the full program for the full Winterclash experience.

Panel Room: Most of our side events are happening inside the Panel Room. It has a new location and you can find it upstairs at the end of the balcony in the very back of the building.

Food, Drinks, Payment:
It is not allowed to bring food&drinks inside the skatepark (one non-alcoholic drink/bottle is allowed). Bags will be checked at the entrance.
There are two stations to BUY COINS, which you will need to pay for food&drinks. Both stations accept card payment – but you won’t be able to withdraw money.

Payment tradeshow:
Some companies will offer payment by card, but from experience it makes sense to bring cash if you want to go shopping.

Lockers & cloakroom: We have a limited amount of lockers for free use inside the skatepark. Please bring your own U-Lock to use it.
The cloakroom will be available from Thursday until Saturday evening and is located upstairs on the balcony close to the bowl.

Greener Winterclash
Please bring your reusable water bottle/cup. You can re-fill it at the bar for 0.5 token or for free from the tab in the bathrooms (drinking water).

We are introducing Winterclash hard cups.
You will be charged 0.5 token with your first drink order. When re-ordering you will either return your hard cup and get a fresh one, or will have to buy another cup. You can not exchange the cup for cash or tokens but can exchange it for an eco coin. Eco coin can only be used to get a new cup, but not pay for new drinks.
Eco coin allows you to hand-in your cup when you don’t want to re-order straight away. It also allows you to return the cup at the end of the day and get a new one the day after, without being charged. Since you pay for the cups, they are allowed to take them home as souvenirs.

Help us recycle. There will be special trashcans for plastic bottles and cans.
